JSC Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill is waiting for the first barges with pulpwood coming in the beginning of May. The planned scope of delivery will be 413,000 m3 or 13% from the total annual volume.
The rafts are expected right after ice drift on the Pinega river. The scope of winter bundling will be 86,000 m3.
As noted by Evgeny Ostretsov, Head of APPM Timber Production, navigation 2019 is challenging because among declared scope of wood delivered by rafts 20,000 m3 is represented by aspen raw material.
It should be recalled that that counting of APPM floating navigations has been taken since 1939.
