As part of the educational project on staff training “Arkhangelsk PPM”, JSC and Novodvinsk technical college (hereinafter NTC) have arranged the second training of the best students in Austria.
During the 10th-16th of September ten students of NTC made acquainted with the work of leading global paper and board manufacturers – MAYR-MELNHOF KARTON (MM-Karton), Heinzel Group and Mondi Neusiedler and especially the international machine building corporate group ANDRITZ (head office in Graz).
As Mrs. Natalia Tarasova, head of NTC, has reminded that the idea of training was born in 2016. Mr.Dmitriy Zyliov, CEO of APPM, has proposed to NTC to send annually the best students of NTC to Austria – a European center of paper products production. “The arrangement work for the second trip preparation was traditionally taken over by the mill and we prepared the list of students that study well and have an operating experience”, - said Mrs. Natalia Tarasova.
While travelling the students were accompanied by Mrs. Olga Savvina, the administrative manager of APPM. “Our common project on arrangement of career guidance trip for students is none other than building of candidate pool, - thinks Mrs. Olga Savvina. – It is an image for the college and the possibility for us to show the relevance and sustainability of branch, need of PPI professions.”
Novodvinsk technical college is a strategic partner of APPM for training and retraining of the staff.
In average, more than 50% of APPM employees studied in NTC, approximately 40% of specialists hired in 2016-2017 on APPM have graduated NTC.
Nowadays Arkhangelsk PPM and Novodvinsk technical college implement the project “Multipurpose center of applied qualifications” for the purpose of long-term cooperation in the area of training of higher demanded staff of blue-collar jobs, retraining and advance training of mill’s specialists.
The mill arranges the industrial work placement for NTC students in order to ensure the continuity and sequence of professional competence acquirement.
