The Arkhangelsk PPM, JSC was rewarded with the honorary distinction “For Merit to the municipal entity “Town of Novodvinsk”. According to the town administration, Dmitry Zyliov, CEO of the mill, and Vladimir Krupchak, the member of the APPM BoD, were rewarded with the same honorary distinctions.

The awards ceremony took place at a special event dedicated to the City Day and the 80th anniversary of the Arkhangelsk PPM.

Sergey Andreev, the Head of Novodvinsk, noted that while effectively developing, the mill increases production output every year, it updates, rebuilds, strives to meet all modern conditions and requirements keeping pace with the times, and its contribution to the development and prosperity of Novodvinsk is great.

“The successful work of APPM is a guarantee of Novodvinsk's well-being. Despite its youth, our city has gone a glorious way from a workers' settlement to an industrial center during the construction of a mill, it well known not only in Russia, but also far beyond its borders. The talent pool of the city is the workers of the mill and, first of all, the workers and veterans of the Arkhangelsk PPM, who, with their conscientious attitude, intelligence and talent, have written many bright pages in the historical chronicle of the development of the timber industry complex of the region and the country,” - resumed Sergey Andreev.
