The Head of the city district of Istra Tatiana Vitusheva visited the production site of Arkhbum JSC.
Tatyana Vitusheva got acquainted with the technology of production of corrugated packaging from containerboard of the Arkhangelsk PPM and visited the second production shop of Arkhbum - Istra-2, which is under construction right now.
Then the Head of the city district discussed with the management of the Istra branch the prospects for investment cooperation, as well as support measures that the municipality can offer.
The Head of the Arkhbum Istra site, Sergei Zapasny, told Tatyana Vitusheva that measures aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay in the commissioning of the second production site: the Istra-2 building has already been completed, site improvement work is ongoing, but due to COVID-19, the arrival of foreign specialists for the installation of the second corrugator has been postponed.
As the Head of the Arkhbum Istra site assured, the company will complete the investment project in December 2020.
Sergei Shulgan, the Chief Technical Officer of Arkhbum JSC, noted in an interview with Tatyana Vitusheva that the second line of the plant will be equipped with the most modern high-tech equipment. In particular, a BHS corrugator (Germany), Ducker transport systems (Germany) will be installed.
Within the framework of the project, BGM Caseline 13/32 (Germany), Bahmuller Turbox 1450 folding gluer (Germany), Hunkeler rejects processing systems (Switzerland), an integrated packaging line consisting of Ducker (Germany), SIGNODE (Germany), MOSCA (Germany) have already been installed and put into operation. Total cost is 34 million euros.
Until the end of 2021, the company will invest about 3 billion rubles in re-equipment.
As previously reported, the asset following the commissioning of Istra-2 will increase production capacity to 400 million m2/year.
Arkhbum JSC is a subsidiary of Arkhangelsk PPM JSC (the only shareholder is Pulp Mill Holding).
