Change in the Arkhbum management team

27 jan 2021

The Pulp Mill Holding – the key shareholder of Arkhbum JSC (corrugated packing division, the subsidiary company of Arkhangelsk PPM JSC) – announced appointments.

Irina Sherstneva, previously headed the Voronezh branch of the company, is appointed CEO of Arkhbum JSC from January 27, 2021.

“On behalf of the holding's management, I would like to wish success to Irina Sherstneva. She is faced with ambitious tasks to further improve all business processes and increase production efficiency,” - said Vladimir Krupchak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arkhbum JSC, Investment Director of Pulp Mill Holding.

Irina Galakhova, ex-CEO of Arkhbum JSC, was appointed Head of the Holding's Project and Investment Group. Now she will be engaged in the implementation of a new investment project of Pulp Mill Holding - the construction of a recycled board plant "ARKHBUM LINER" in the Moscow region.

As previously reported, its capacity will be more than 500 thousand tons per year.

The plant's products will include two main categories: testliner (chipboard for flat layers of corrugated board) and fluting (chipboard for corrugation).

“This project is focused on the sales of the testliner and fluting both for our own corrugated production and for all existing consumers of these products, - said Vladimir Krupchak. It is extremely beneficial for us to increase the collection of waste paper for several reasons. Among the main ones are the creation of a regulated collection market, reducing the cost of products, maintaining social stability (providing jobs for people involved in collecting, sorting and packing waste paper), increasing tax revenues and protecting the environment through separate waste collection and recycling of raw materials. "

Vladimir Krupchak also said that ARKHBUM LINER products will be focused on the domestic market and, due to high quality and competitive cost, for export, mainly to European markets.
