The Podolsk site of Arkhbum JSC launched the BOBST MASTERLINE HD. This is the second flatbed die-cutting line, the first was launched in September 2019.
The second machine has more options and more complicated configuration. The line includes an automatic feeder Loader AF, a flexographic printing press with three printing sections Masterflex-HD, an automatic die-cutter Mastercut 2.1 and an automatic blank separator Breaker. The maximum output is 7 thousand sheets per hour.
In addition to the main machine, a transport system and a robotic palletizer are assembled and launched.
Under COVID-19 conditions, the installation of the Emmepi Group transport system elements for the integration of the flatbed die-cutting line into the existing transport and logistics system of the plant was performed with the help of video communication. Two technicians from Gofromashiny LLC took part in it with the support of the Italian electronics engineers. Within two weeks, the bundle feed line and finished product output line were assembled and launched, along with that works on the integration of the software and adjustment of the operation algorithm with the existing systems were performed.
The head of the Podolsk branch of Arkhbum JSC Konstantin Borumbey said that the specialists of the company who knew the particular nature of the equipment perfectly well took direct part in the installation. "The complete professionalism of the specialists of the Podolsk site, Moscow representative office of BOBST, Gofromashiny LLC and DÜCKER Robotics made it possible to assemble and start the machines under the current difficult conditions without the presence of foreign engineers," said Konstantin Borumbey.
It is worth reminding that the total cost of the equipment and work is 430 million rubles.
As it was previously reported, after the completion of modernization in 2021, the Podolsk branch of Arkhbum JSC will be able to produce up to 17 million square meters of the finished products per month.
The Podolsk branch of Arkhbum JSC was launched in 2001.
