Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC (Vorsino industrial park, Kaluga region, a part of Pulp Mill Holding) and PSO-13 JSC (Istra, Moscow region) signed a contract for the construction of the second line of the plant with a capacity of 70 thousand tonnes per year.

As for the design solutions, the new production will be similar to the first line. Thus, the capacity of the entire Arkhbum Tissue Group production will increase to 140 thousand tonnes per year.

The total cost of the project for the construction of the second line is estimated at 8.5 billion rubles.

According to the First Deputy Director of Arkhbum Tissue Group LLC, Alexander Shcherbina, at the moment the company has fully mastered the entire range of products under its own brand Soffione (various types of fine toilet paper, two, three and four-layer kitchen towels in rolls).

Now the company is implementing a large investment program to expand the range of products and launch new Soffione products: table napkins, paper handkerchiefs and fashion napkins in boxes. In November 2020, a table napkin production line will be launched, and in January 2021, the installation of the third Futura converting line will start.
