On 5 February 2020, as part of Open Innovation Start-up Tour a delegation of Skolkovo Foundation representatives visited Arkhangelsk PPM JSC.
The visit to the mill also included an excursion to the mill and its shops producing notebooks and cardboard.
Then there were bilateral talks that considered solutions offered by Flowcom, Computer Vision Systems, PIX Robotics, RuSIEM and Online Patent companies.
All the projects were described as interesting and relevant for APPM, objectives and the subsequent stages of their implementation were determined.
The representatives also exchanged information with the APPM managers responsible for digitalization and lean production and reached agreement on consideration of the Skolkovo resident companies' solutions in an extended format that can be implemented at the mill.
According to Pavel Krivozubov, Head of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence of the Skolkovo Foundation's IT Cluster, going on business missions as part of OIST keeps growing and becomes an effective way to inform the local enterprises of the Skolkovo companies' solutions.
He also noted that the demo day in Arkhangelsk broke all attendance and efficiency records. "We visited the city-forming enterprise – Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill where we held negotiations with the expanded membership with the mill's management, reached the common understanding and set the agenda for the further cooperation", – summed up Pavel Krivozubov.
