Based on the results of regional stage of all-Russian competition "Russian organization of high social performance", Arkhangelsk PPM, JSC took top-3 positions in key nominations.
The first two places are "For the reduction of industrial injuries and professional sickness in industrial organizations" and "For formation of healthy lifestyle in industrial organizations". The third position - in nomination "For the development of workforce capacity in industrial organizations".
APPM channels significant investments for personnel training, preventive health care, reduction of occupational risks. In 2020 the mill invested about 140 mln. rub. to the activities related to the improvement of labour conditions and protection. Labor safety management system, which exists in the company, corresponds to the requirements of GOST R 54934-2012/OHSAS 18001:2007.
Arkhangelsk PPM expenses for VHI insurance and its options amounted to 38.5 mln. rub. in 2020. The company concluded the contract for health care services to personnel, the expenses for health post amounted to 19.2 mln. rub. Each employee has an opportunity to visit health care center "Zhemchuzhina Severa" free of charge. The personnel are provided with catering services in 5 canteens.
For the past two years, the mill carries out anti-COVID campaign successively. Investments to the package of preventive measures for workers amounted to more than 17 mln. rub.
An active campaign for vaccination session including motivational elements is in progress at APPM. Managers get vaccinated together with workers in the same groups. Vaccination is carried out at the territory of the mill at health post. The workers can get vaccinated during working hours with full pay. Nowadays, more than 1200 employees are vaccinated.
Arkhangelsk PPM lays an emphasis on promotion of physical exercises and sports among its workers and their family members, healthy lifestyle, formation and development of corporate culture.
The most popular activities among the workers are: all-inclusive sports and athletic contest, field and track May relay race, family sports day (winter and summer stage), project "Dances for health", cost-free activities on the basis of sports complex and swimming pool, including activities for retirees and participation of combined teams in regional competitions in different disciplines.
According to the results of the last year, the costs for mass sporting events amounted to 27.8 mln. rub.
During more than twenty years, Arkhangelsk PPM holds large-scale campaigns for production departments rebuild, investing billions of rubles in its development. But it is still impossible to produce modern equipment and innovations without people: engineers, process engineers, technicians - those who are indispensable part of huge mill production. This is precisely why APPM intensively works with the Northern Arctic federal university and Novodvinsk industrial technical high school - basic educational enterprise, which trains specialists of industrial worker specialties.
At Arkhangelsk PPM workforce strategy was developed till 2030. One of its elements is a unique project "Future of Arkhangelsk PPM", which promotes worker specialties, engineering occupations, a branch taken as a whole among preschoolers and schoolchildren. In October 2021 the mill together with "Techservice", LLC equipped specialized chemical class of Novodvinsk school No.2. It is the first step of cooperation of APPM and its partners for awarding status of the town of chemical industry workers for Novodvinsk.
Competition "Russian organization of high social performance" is held each year in two stages at the regional and federal level with participation of the parties of social partnership.
The aim of the competition is drawing of public attention to the importance of social decision at the level of organizations, revealing of the best social projects, making of positive social image of organizations.
Holding of this competition is a possibility for organizations to show active internal policy, progress in work with personnel, activities for labour safety and condition improvement, development of social partnership, formation of healthy lifestyle etc.
