APPM employees will receive master's degrees in industrial ecology

Arkhangelsk PPM JSC intends to strengthen its staff policy to further improving its environmental performance.

Reforming the legislation in the environmental protection, aimed at the change of industry to the process standards principles, served as the basis for making a decision for the first time to arrange and provide training for leading specialists of production departments, engineering services of the mill in the specialty "Industrial ecology and rational use of natural resources ” at the Master’s Degree course of the Northern Arctic Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

In September 2020, training began for six employees of the mill, who are currently working at the wastewater treatment plant, design department and board production.

Arkhangelsk PPM JSC carries out activities at the facility in respect of which the process standards should be established in the near future - a new tool for mills for environmental and process regulation of environmental impact and technological processes.

As a result of the implementation of a set of strategic measures, aimed at training specialized professionals, it is expected to increase the efficiency of management of technological and energy processes of the mill from the perspective of the modern environmental regulation of activities.
