In summer it is planned to revive the good old tradition of joint trips of the mill's staff for the forest gifts. Besides, in cooperation with the local authorities and with the assistance of the deputy corps, we are planning to implement a whole range of activities related to planting forests, cleaning up city parks and adjacent forest areas. We will invite all those who are not indifferent to participate in such public actions”. On the day of the Year of the Forest, representatives of the mill held a “forest” lesson for ecolyata in the kindergarten “Beryozka”, and pupils of the “forest” class of Secondary School No. 1 went on an excursion in the workshops of APPM.

“We are launching such a public initiative for the first time, and we want to draw attention to the importance of sustainable management of forest resources, show what steps the mill has been taking in terms of educational work and improving the environmental culture of children and adults, and what mill is planning to do in these areas for the future,” noted General Director of Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill JSC Dmitry Zylev.
