On December 28, 2020, a Forest Council under the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region was established. Alexander Tsybulsky, the Head of the region, signed the corresponding decree.

Dmitry Zyliov, CEO of Arkhangelsk PPM JSC, is included in the Forest Council.

The Forestry Council under the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region was established to consider and prepare proposals in the field of forest relations and timber industry, as well as to ensure the interaction of the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region, the Government of the region, legislative and executive authorities of the Arkhangelsk region, local government, associations of trade unions and employers and other interested organizations of the timber industry of the region.

The Forestry Council is concerned with the development of proposals for the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of timber industry development, including the improvement of legal regulation; holding the joint consultations in order to develop agreed solutions and proposals on problematic issues in the field of forest relations and the timber industry, etc.
