Annually more than 1.6 million people need blood transfusion. Blood is indispensable for victims of burn, for performing complicated medical operations as well as for people with cancer disease.

On Donor day 42 employees of the enterprise donated more than 16 litres of blood. That is every tenth employee donated blood! It is noteworthy that a smaller number of the employees was registered in advance, and many employees decided to donate blood having seen a long queue of colleagues in front of the medical room.

Blood donation is an affordable form of charity. Donating blood helps to save people’s lives, and we as a company are excited to be a part of donor movement. Besides, regular blood donation has a beneficial effect on the body. Therefore, we are confident that such activity will become a good tradition at the plant. And, of course, we thank every employee of the plant who took part in the volunteer project”, said Tatyana Bashmakova, Deputy HR Director.
