The Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill has never produced and doesn’t produce copy paper.

The basic product range of JSC “Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill” remains unchanged for many years: container board, hardwood and softwood pulp, tag paper.

Throughout its more than 80 years of history, the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill has never produced and does not produce paper in office formats in a pack.

Due to restrictions including the import of the chemicals, spare parts and other necessary materials the APPM has promptly produced a trial batch of unbleached hardwood and softwood pulp as well as unbleached paper of one-sided smoothness.

At present the plant is looking for the ways to substitute import chemicals for bleaching. In the near future the plant will produce both bleached and unbleached pulp.

The Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill's technical services are working on two projects to organize the production of chemicals at the plant's production site: the production of sodium chlorate and hydrogen peroxide.
