On July 5, 2021 the award ceremony of the regional stage of the all-Russian contest "Russian Organization of High Social Effectiveness 2020" took place at the meeting of the Arkhangelsk regional trilateral  commission on regulating social and labour relations led by Olesya Starzhinskaya, Deputy Chairman of the Arkhangelsk Region Government.
Elena Belozerova, the acting Administrative Director of the Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, received the mill's well-deserved award at a ceremony at the regional government.
It should be noted that in 2020 our company invested 320 million rubles in the implementation of social performances.
The Arkhangelsk PPM has one of the best social programs for employees in the timber industry including: rehabilitation and medical treatment, voluntary medical insurance, financing of recreation and health improvement of employees' children during summer vacations, purchase of New Year presents for employees' children aged from 1 to 15 years, financial assistance to families with many children, one-off payments at child birth and to retirees for anniversaries, financial assistance for operations and examinations, etc.
Moreover, APPM invests a lot in employee training, improvement of the occupational safety conditions and reduction of occupational risks.
According to the decision of Vladimir Krupchak, Investment Director of Pulp Mill Holding and member of the Board of Directors of Arkhangelsk PPM JSC, our company has been actively involved in the struggle against COVID-19 from the first days of the pandemic. The Arkhangelsk PPM provides assistance to regional medical and social institutions, the company strictly observes measures to prevent COVID-19, and there is a vaccination center.
We would like to remind you that the contest "Russian Organization of High Social Effectiveness" has been held annually since 2009. Its main goals are to identify Russian companies that achieve high social effectiveness in solving social tasks, to study and distribute their experience, and to develop forms of social partnership in companies.
