Arkhangelsk PPM won the award “The Best Pulp and Paper Industry Organization in the Field of the Innovation Activities and Modernization”

Arkhangelsk PPM JSC won the award “The Best Pulp and Paper Industry Organization in the Sphere of the Innovation Activities and Modernization” of the Russian Union of Timber Industrialists and Exporters and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The ceremony took place on 4 December 2019 in Wien (Austria) at the opening of the Fifth Anniversary International Conference “Russian Pulp and Paper Industry – New Realities, New Possibilities” (“Eurasian Conference on the Pulp and Paper Industry”).

The national award of the Russian pulp and paper industry is an international professional award for outstanding service of the leading manufacturers, investors, technology developers, and suppliers of components, chemicals and services.

The main goal of the Competition on the selection of the award winners is the development of the pulp and paper industry organizations, improvement of their efficiency and performance quality, promotion of social value, enhancement of environmental safety, and improvement of the personnel qualification and skills at the enterprises.

As a winner of the award, Arkhangelsk PPM received the diploma of the National Award in the Field of Russian Pulp and Paper Industry and a valuable prize.

According to the award organizers, Russian and foreign organizations, manufacturers, investors, suppliers of components, chemicals and services, took part in the competition and demonstrated effective tools for the development and promotion of the companies, products and services.

The international conference “Russian Pulp and Paper Industry – New Realities, New Opportunities” is a milestone in this field.

The event in Wien became an arena for communication between government officials, equipment manufacturers and purchasers of the pulp and paper industry products.

The co-organizer of the conference is the Industrial and Commercial Chamber of the Russian Federation. The president of the Industrial and Commercial Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Katyrin is the co-chairman of the conference organizing committee.

The conference considers the development prospects of the forest industry complex enterprises in Russia and implementation of the state aid strategy, environmental issues, changes in the legislative basis of the accessibility of forest resources, forest use and reforestation intensification strategy, investment situation in the pulp and paper complex of Russia.
