APPM's Board Production Plant achieved output targets after the large-scale modernization of the second board machine (BM2). As Dmitry Khrapach, Head of the APPM's Board Production Plant, said, in January of the current year the total cooking (sulphate and semi-chemical pulp) was 54.2 thousand tons.

In the first month of the year, the total BM1 and BM2 output reached 52 thousand tons. With that, the output of the retrofitted BM2 for January 2020 was 26.6 thousand tons.

"In 2020 Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill plans to produce cardboard for flat layers of corrugated board and corrugated paper in the volume of 600 thousand tons per year, as it was stated earlier, with the wide range of grammages," noted Dmitry Khrapach. "Together with the increase in output, we will continue to work on the enhancement of the qualitative characteristics of our products."

It is worth reminding that APPM's BM2 produces fluting and kraftliner with the wide range of basis weights (from 80 to 280 g/m2).
