Nikolay Krotov, Director for Cooperation with State Authorities at APPM, became a member of the FSC Russia Coordination Council

Nikolay Krotov, Director for Cooperation with State Authorities at Arkhangelsk PPM JSC, became a member of the Coordination Council (CC) of FSC Russia from the Economic Chamber.

He replaced Yuri Trubin in this position, who left the CC of his own free will.

“Consideration of the interests of all forestry relations participants is possible only through dialogue,” Nikolay Krotov noted.

Nikolay Stepanovich Krotov was born in the town of Nyandoma, Arkhangelsk region.

In 1989 he graduated from the Arkhangelsk Forestry Engineering Institute majoring in Forestry.

He began his career as a design engineer at the Arkhangelsk branch of the Soyuzgiproleskhoz Institute.

From 1992 to 1994 he worked as a forester at the Lelemsky forestry of the Priozerny forestry enterprise of the Arkhangelsk region.

From 1994 to 2001 he was the Director of the Priozerny forestry enterprise.

In 2001, he became Deputy Head of the Natural Resources Committee for the Arkhangelsk Region. Since that time, he has been actively involved in supporting projects related to the preservation of valuable forests.

From 2002 to 2010, he was Deputy Head of the Head Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia for the Arkhangelsk Region, Deputy Head of the Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service Administration for the region, Deputy Director of the Timber Industry Department, then Director of the Forestry Department of the Arkhangelsk Region and the Head of the Regional Division for Forestry and Hunting.

In 2010, Nikolay Krotov became Deputy Head, Acting Head of the Department for the Use and Regeneration of Forests of the Federal Forestry Agency, then Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency.

Since 2020 Nikolay Krotov has been the Director for Cooperation with State Authorities at Arkhangelsk PPM.

Married.

His son continued the forest dynasty of the Krotovs. Currently he works as an engineer-forest pathologist at FBI "Roslesozashchita".
